Pouvoir and vouloir are irregular verbs. Here are their forms in the Present tense:
POUVOIR —"to be able to, can"

VOULOIR —"to want, wish"

Note that pouvoir generally refers to ability derived from circumstance, not from acquisition of skills.
| Vous pouvez partir à cinq heures. |
| You can leave at five o'clock. |
| Elle ne peut pas lire dans la voiture. |
| She cannot read in the car. |
Pouvoir can only be used with an infinitive, whereas vouloir can be followed either by an infinitive or by a direct object.
| Tu peux me téléphoner plus tard. |
| You can call me later. |
| Voulez-vous partir? |
| Do you want to leave? |
| Elle ne veut pas voyager. |
| She does not want to travel. |
| Est-ce qu'elle veut une limonade? |
| Does she want a lemonade? |
