Expedited Passport Service:
- In addition to regular application fees, an additional $60 fee per application plus overnight delivery costs.
- Two-way overnight delivery is strongly suggested.
- If you mail in, clearly mark Expedited on the envelope.
- Include your departure date on your application.
- Anyone may request expedited service for any type of application (e.g., first-time applications, renewals, amendments of existing passports, etc.)
- Passport applications sent together or at the same time do not necessarily remain together.
- Passports will be mailed to you separately.
Processing Times for Passports
Ordinarily, if you pay the $60 for expedited service and two-way overnight delivery, you can expect your passports within about TWO weeks. Routine service is typically 6 weeks turn-around. However, for the most up-to-date processing time estimations, click here.
